The maze was quiet

Too quiet for her liking

She felt her heart race.

It was not long 'til

They claimed control of his mind

And took his control.

It was very close

He tasted the victory

Right near his fingers.

Age worked against him

He was up verses great wizards

No survival chance.

Anticipation

And fear were her enemies

The vines hit her hard.

The red sparks flashed high

Her knew he couldn't win this

So he let it go.

Neck and neck they were

He couldn't lose to a child

But the vines said yes.

Going back for him

Was a difficult choice made

Right choice anyway.

Grab the cup as one

It was not the correct choice

It was a portal.

Landing in graveyard

The very place spells out doom

They don't run in time.

A flash of green light

The press of the cold gravestone

Shock begins to set.

The yew wand is used

Purely for his own torture

The pain is blinding.

But it's not over

It will never be over

Or so it seems, dear.
