The world seemed to stop for a moment.
Then a heartbeat.
No tears.
Yes…. Definitely none of them.
Only a blank expression… and a world of oblivion.

Darkness.
Emptiness.
Nothingness.
Senselessness.
Tearlessness.
Fearlessness.

A figure. Void of emotion.
A shape. Void of mass.
An element. Void of space.
Absence.

Then an intake of breath.

They say, death is inevitable.
Death comes to all living things.
Death is an end to life.
Death is everyone should expect.
Death is death; and death is irreversible.
Death is an occasion where most people don't celebrate in good spirits. It's an event where people think they should mourn and grieve.
But death can also be healing. It can open the mind and the heart of a person.
Death may bring peace. Although a sacrifice is made, people must sing praises; thus, the requiem.
