Azula laid on her back on the hard red ground, breathing heavily from crying so much. Her entire face was covered in dried tears. She had recently lost to her older brother and was left alone with chains around her wrists. She tried to bend her body enough so she could burn the chains off, but she wasn't flexible enough. After using up her energy, she collapse back down. Suddenly, she heard footsteps.
"Azula? Is that you?" It was a high pitched voice. Azula turned her head to see Ty Lee standing in front of her. "T-Ty Lee!" Azula said, sniffling. She was able to get herself to rest on her knees. "Ty Lee you have to get these chains off of me!"
She asked, "What happened to your hair? It looks terrible!" Azula flailed her body around. "How dare you speak that way to the Fire Lord!"
"But you aren't the Fire Lord." Ty Lee said, raising an eyebrow. "Get these stupid things off of me so I can defeat my brother and become the Fire Lord!" Azula growled. Ty Lee silently said, "I... I can't."
"What?"
Ty Lee took a deep breath. "You don't deserve to be the Fire Lord, Azula! All you do is control people! You're a liar and a deceiver and wonder why your mother thought you were a monster!" Azula looked down; tears rolling down her cheeks. She watched them shatter onto the ground. "How could you... You and Mai are the only friends I had," She looked up and screamed, "and you betrayed me!"
Ty Lee shook her head. "We were never your friends, we were your servants." Azula yelled, "I made you who you are! I gave you an identity! That's what you always wanted!"
"What I wanted was to join the circus and you forced me into helping you bring down people who were trying to save the world. And after all of that, you failed!" Azula breathed fire all around her, burning Ty Lee's arm. She winced in pain as Azula cried, "Get me out of here!" Ty Lee slapped Azula's cheek, making Azula fall on her stomach. "Goodbye, Azula. I'll always feel sorry for you." She turned around and started to walk away, holding onto her arm.
Azula got up on her knees and was able to stand up for a brief moment before falling down again. "Ty Lee! Please, come back! Help me!" Ty Lee ran away, leaping over the buildings around them. Azula screamed her name again. "Ty! Ty Lee!" She slammed her head into the ground and cried. "No!"
