Last Goodbye
Bruce failed, and he knew that. He knew that was doomed to fail and that he was going to be late. He watched the fire blaze higher every second as he searched in the falling building. Finally, he found him lying still as water. Dead.
The misfortune and lost took a toll on everyone. Even Dick was depressed. The mansion had grown dark and weak. Then came the day that they buried him. His once excited and happy face now forever blank and alone.
He failed and he knew it.
