I only own the plot. As I write this I listen to the song Animal I have Become by Three Days Grace.
Remus felt like a monster, like the monster in him was going to kill or hurt the next person that came over. He sat at his spot at the Order meeting. He felt like a bloody animal, and it didn't help that Tonks keeps on looking at him that way.
He had to get out of there.

Remus ran out into the Weasley's garden. He didn't need this, a day way from the full moon, Sirius just died, and Tonks! Merlin help him. Help him believe he's not an animal. His animal didn't care what others thought, be he did. The animal did care about the darkness inside of Remus!

"Remus." Came a voice, he turned to see Tonks, his heart started beating fast, she looked beautiful. Her hair was a beautiful turquoise to lighten everyone's mood, her eyes the same. She looked like an angel. But the animal in Remus knew that that was his mate, that they needed to make love, no shag!
"Remus, you have to snap out of this. You know I can help, you know how I feel, I love you." Tonks said. He heart skipped a beat when she said those last words. Oh how he wanted to say, I love you too. But he couldn't. He lied to himself so many times, he just couldn't break now.
"I'm too old, to poor and too dangerous Tonks, you know this." He said in a stern voice.
He was living a bloody nightmare!

"You've got to get over this Remus." She said in a soft voice. He sighed. He pulled something out of his pocket and came up to Tonks, he tried his best to behave.
He handed her the necklace. "This will keep you safe." He said and walked away. He could control himself anymore he was living in Hell. He was an animal, and he had to keep her safe from other animal's like himself. From his necklace, he could feel that Tonks was angry and sad, it hurt him just like it hurt her. But he was an animal!
