Chapter 1: The newest god!

"Percy Jackson" Poseidon announced. My name echoed around the throne room.
All talking died down. The room was silent except for the crackle of the heath fire. Everyone's eyes were on me – all gods, demi – gods, Cyclops, and sprits. One god was not there…
"Pursues!" My father and Zeus yelled together so load it made me jump.
"What is your decision about becoming a god?" Zeus said. I looked back at Annabeth. I remembered when she was kissing Apollo in the garden of the gods.
All I could do was repeat what he said. '
A god?' I said.
"A dimwitted god, apparently. But yes, with agreement of the council. I can make you immortal." Zeus replied
"I like this idea. I can smash him to a pulp for eternity and he comes back." Ares said happily.
"Yes Lord Zeus. I accept your generous gift." I said.
A ray of light flew from each of their hands. I blacked out.
