Opposites Attract

Author's Note/Disclaimer: Whee, AlbelxFayt. My first shounen-ai anything, unless you count jokes made at school. Basically, if anyone has been reading my other fics, this is just another genre test. Apparently I suck at humor, and I'm okay with drama, so yeah, next up was shounen ai. Woot. Enjoy, people. Hopefully. Oh yesh, read and reply if you will. : ) Right, the rating... just some kissy-face and touching, I'm still a homophobe at heart... Almost forgot. It's verrrrry short, but if people like it and say so, that can be remedied.
"Albel, it's time for me to return to Earth with Sophia. It was great knowing you guys, and I don't regret coming to Elicoor for a second. I'll be sure to visit." As Fayt turned away to the Diplo's transport beam, there was a strange feeling deep in his chest. A tightness. Was it because of Albel's reaction when he had heard that Fayt was leaving? That couldn't be it. He was pretty sure that Albel hated his guts. But even so...
Fayt gasped in surprise as he felt Albel's arms wrap around him from behind – a touch that was at once warm, and yet cold and hard. His breath caught in his throat; he could hear Albel's voice whispering in his ear as he brought Fayt closer.
"You can't leave."
Confusion swept through Fayt's stunned mind, freezing his limbs and rendering him helpless. He was unable to form the smallest thought, even as Albel roughly turned him around and pressed his lips to his own. Time seemed to freeze; had that moment lasted for a minute or a day? Breathless, Fayt uttered a single word: "Why?"
"You fool." Albel's eyes burned crimson from under lowered lids. "Did you really think I would let you just leave like that?" Fayt lifted his face, gazing up into Albel's. "But... why... I thought you hated me?" A trace of a grin flitted across Albel's lips. "At first..." He brushed Fayt's hair out of his eyes. "But after a while, I couldn't hate you. You were everything I wasn't, had everything I never did."
Fayt felt blood rush to his face as it grew hot. His heart pounded. All he could do was stare at Albel's beautiful yet dangerous visage, completely arrested by the burning flames he saw there in his eyes. "Stay with me," Albel whispered, and once again brought his mouth down onto Fayt's.
As they parted, Fayt, lost for words, nodded.
Um, yeah. That's it. If you think I should continue in this vein, say so. Or you can go, "Boo, hiss! Go back to where you came from, you homophobe faker!" Either way is fine. : )
