One Kiss
~Hermione's POV~
Yay, another beautiful day, just like yesterday. I dressed slowly and slipped downstairs, praying he'd forgotten about last night. Stupid wish, but a girl can dream. I stepped outside the Common Room, and closed it quietly. I couldn't let him see me. I could at least try to avoid him.
"Hello." I let out a high pitched shriek that woke up every sleeping painting. I looked at him. He remembered. I stammered, trying to find my voice, and failed terribly. "Can we talk?" If I could speak, the first two words would probably be: Hell no! I was trying to forget. But... no voice. Instead, I shook my head vigorously, I wanted to forget because Ron would kill me, and he looked at me as if I had three heads, yeah I looked stupid. I turned and left without a word. I heard him behind me and just moved faster.
After a few staircases the footsteps disappeared. I sighed in relief and went towards the great hall. I took a seat next to Harry and Ron, who just gave me a look.
"What's up with you guys?" I asked as I dug in to my eggs and bacon.
"What's. Up?" Ron sounded pretty angry. Did he know too? "You know very well what Hermione!" I faked innocence.
"What are you talking about Ron?" I made my most angelic face.
"Well maybe you should tell us next time you go on a date with Malfoy!" With that he stood up and stormed out. He didn't understand. It wasn't a date! But he didn't know that! I wanted to smack myself.
"Ron! Ron it didn't happen like that! Urgh." I slumped in my seat no longer hungry. I simply moved the eggs around on my plate. Harry was staring at me. "How did you know?" I picked up my drink and sipped it.
"Colin. He got a picture of you two kissing. It's posted everywhere." I never thought i'd ever do something like this, but one second i'm drinking, the next Harry is covered in hot chocolate. Oops... I pulled out my wand and waved it, and soon the hot chocolate was gone. I felt a presence behind me.
"Can we talk about last night now?" I sighed.
"Sure."
