His Perfect Sacrifice
A perfect child
to the Sinless Man
stainless and without blemish.
Guilty of nothing
The Man who lived
and who died
the death every human deserves.
You were beaten
and bruised.
Given a crown,
a mockery crown of thorns.
You were scoffed and spit on.
The people who new You denied You,
and sentenced the King of all Kings to death.
So You carried the cross.
Our cross,
To be killed.
You were nailed to it,
Your hands and feet,
and still with your dying breath
You asked God to forgive us,
for we knew not what we did.
Then in three days time
You were raised from death.
And still I wonder
Why would the perfect Son of God,
the stainless Lamb of God,
give His life for us,
for me?
I am unworthy of His Blood,
and the Salvation given through His death and Ressurection.
Still I accept this precious Gift.
A Gift that I could not recieve
without His sacrafice.
He is the Son of God
The Lamb that was slain
The King of Kings
The Lord of Lords
The Prince of Peace
My Comforter
My Savior
My King
Jesus
