I'm brand new to The Sentinel, both the show and the fandom. Having watched as many shows as possible in the last four weeks, I thought I'd tackle a few drabbles and possibly work my way up to some full length stories.
All that being said, this is my first Sentinel drabble. Without this intro etc. the drabble itself is the requisite 100 words. :-)

Rain

Rain.
Hardly a rare event in Cascade. Still, a person didn't have to like the frequently inclement weather.
With a sigh, Blair Sandburg watched as a particularly fat drop struck the top of the window before zig-zagging its way down the pane. It was Saturday, though, which meant no classes at Ranier. He could stay home, cozy inside the apartment. Unless, of course, Jim needed him on a case. Only time would tell there as the police detective was still sound asleep.
Blair turned from the window, grimacing as his injured shoulder protested, and poured himself another cup of coffee.
