This is just a little short bit of writing I created late at night... This is my first work to go online, as well!

He had thought about this for a long time.

And now, it was finally happening.

She was right there.

Right in front of him.

How long had it been? 200, 300 years?

It only seemed like yesterday to him.

It seemed like only yesterday when they fought against danger.

When they defended entire worlds.

How do you talk to someone who hasn't met you - not like this?

You know them - you know them so well...

And they've never even seen your face.

The biggest tragedy in all the universe.

He had to do it - after all, it may have been his only chance to do so.

And he had to do it now.

He didn't even realise he was walking towards her until his vision of her became clearer and clearer.

He was right behind her.

Deep breaths.

He hadn't felt this nervous for a long time.

But, now was the time.

This was it.

"Rose Tyler…"
