A/N: Based on my experiences of camping. I do not own Stargate SG-1 and all mistakes are my own. Enjoy, and please review.
I hate the rain. And on PX9-532 it rains a lot. We only have one tent this time, so we all have to sleep together. All four of us in one small tent. Lt Col Mitchell is on one side of me, Daniel on the other and Teal'c on the end. It's a damn good thing I'm not claustrophobic.
I'm not usually one to complain but one of the things that I really hate about my team is that they all snore. All of them! Sometimes I wonder if they have snoring competitions between the three of them.
Cameron is by far the worst. One minuet he's really loud, then the next he's really quiet and then just when you think he's finally stopped, he starts snoring really loudly again.
The gap between the two of us is almost non-existent, so every time he rolls over, I get hit in the face. What's really annoying is when he asks me how I got a black eye the next morning.
As well as snoring, Daniel also mumbles in his sleep. He goes on about a lot of things. Bacon, cheese, boats, the Goa'uld, the Asgard, the Ancients and many more of what I'm sure are exciting and interesting topics. Not.
He mumbles in Ancient sometimes too.
Teal'c isn't so bad when it comes to snoring, although he burps in his sleep. And there was this one time when he rolled over and knocked poor Daniel unconscious. That, and the fact that he takes up so much room in the tent.
I feel sorry for Vala, who is on watch duty in case we get attacked. She's outside in the freezing cold pouring rain, P-90 in her hands, patrolling the tent. She's brought so much to the team in the last few months and I've grown to admire her.
Unable to take the snoring anymore I go to relieve Vala of watch duty.
