That's What Friends Are For
Disclaimer: I don't own Gilmore Girls or Grey's Anatomy… but imagine if I did.

Lorelai also happens to be going through a breakup and is also in major need of her best friend. What happens when Lorelai pays Seattle Grace Hospital a visit? (Takes place during the beginning of season 3 of Grey's Anatomy and the end of season 6 and the beginning of season 7 of Gilmore Girls.)

Addison's POV:
A divorce. I cannot believe that I am getting a divorce. And to make matters worse I have to work with both Derek and Meredith. I really need a friend I can talk to. Addison thought to her self. She picked up her phone and dialed an ever-familiar number.
"Lorelai's house of people with screwed up lives. Trixy speaking. How can I help you?" Addison couldn't help but laugh at how Lorelai had answered the phone.
"Well Trixy," I started, " Derek and I are getting a divorce, and also I am forced to see Derek and his girlfriend every day at work, and my best friend lives on the other side of the country."
"ADDIE!!!!!" Lorelai screamed, "First off, sorry about the divorce. But your life is not the only one that sucks. I asked Luke, who by the way just found out that he has a 13 year old daughter and he waited 2 months before he told me about her, to elope. He said no, so then I went and slept with Christopher."
"Wait, Luke has a daughter? And you slept with Chris?" I asked, a little confused by the situation.
"Yep. And my best friend lives in Seattle," Lorelai sighed, "I just need a break from Stars Hollow, from Connecticut, and from the East Coast."
"I have an idea. Come visit me in Seattle. I miss you and I haven't seen you in forever." I said.
"Okay. I will pack and get a ticket for a flight out at the end of the week. Bye Addie." Lorelai said.
"Bye Lori" I said and then hung up the phone.
