I don't own Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
Luke looked at the knife Percy had given him, the knife that would be used to kill Kronos. As he looked at Percy he realized that he had lost a friend, someone that could have been there for him whenever he needed back up and whenever he needed someone to talk to.
He sighed to himself. His friends were gathered around him, and in the end everything would be all right. He took another deep breath. 'Okay,' he thought. 'I can do this.'
Suddenly, as he was getting ready to bring the knife down, a connection to Kronos opened up and he heard a voice in his mind.
'Don't do it!' the voice told him. 'Think about what I can offer you! Continue being on the dark side!'
Luke felt like he wanted to roll his eyes. 'You're only saying that because you don't want to die!'
'No,' the voice replied, and he thought he felt Kronos frown. 'I'm only doing it because of what I can offer you. I can offer you power! I can offer you your wildest dreams!'
'No,' Luke shot back. 'There is nothing that you can offer me!'
'Are you sure?' Kronos pushed the issue further. "You don't know what I am capable of!'
'Of course I do!' Luke firmly replied. 'I've seen the kind of powers you have. There is nothing of the power you have that I want!' he resisted.
Meanwhile, Percy and the others present were watching the facial features on Luke's face change, the tiny group in confusion. Percy gave a confused look towards Annabeth. 'What's going on?' he mouthed to her and she merely shrugged.
'I'm not sure!' Annabeth mouthed back.
Kronos seemed upset for some reason and Luke could feel his anger growing. 'You have no idea what I'm capable of!' Kronos snapped and Luke gripped the blade tighter in his hand. 'You only have these stupid godly powers on your side while I have the force!'
At this Luke froze in confusion, stunned. 'The force? What the heck is the force?'
A brief snicker came from the other end. 'You know, the force! As in, may the force be with you!'
But poor Luke didn't seem to catch on. 'I... I don't understand...'
'What?!' a shocked and confused Kronos seemed to respond, and Luke could feel the dread in his heart. 'Have you never seen Star Wars?'
'Star Wars?' Luke echoed. 'I don't understand.'
'Gah!' Kronos shrugged him off in his thoughts. 'Clearly you've been spending too much time in the demigod world instead of the mortal world! Star Wars has to be the most famous movie there is!'
Luke then tilted his head in confusion. 'I fail to see how this has to do with the situation at hand,' he frowned and Kronos seemed to calm down some.
The big monster inside him stirred as if he were about to reveal something big. 'Okay, I admit, I got something I got to tell you.'
'And that is?' Luke snapped back.
'Luke, there is something you need to know...'
'And that is?' Luke snarled.
There was a brief pause as Kronos hesitated. Finally he he said it.
'Luke, I am your great-grandfather.'
Luke froze and the dropped the knife in shock.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Well, my first one shot! It just came to me all of a sudden. I don't know if anyone has done this before, but oh well if they have. If they have this is my take on the parody.
Sincerely,
