Darkest nights that I fear
Show yourself but don't come near
Silent whispers follow all around
As I turn to leave there is no one to be found
There's never a day I can't stop

All that has been left behind is the darkness
That has penetrated and seeped
Into my wandering soul
Shadows are closing in
Images are getting hard to see
As my body goes numb

When that day will come by
