Character Summary:

Don married to Katie and works for the FBI. He still loves being with his family.

Katie married to Don and works with him at the FBI. She loves having his family around.

Chapter 1

That night

Don was finally able to get home after a long day at work. He knew that she would be alseep since he had sent her home eariler today since she was not feeling too good. He also noticed that his dad was sleeping on the couch but was too tired to wake him up and asked why. He just decided to head to bed. The minute that his head hit the pillow, he was out cold until the next morning.

The next morning

Don woke up to find his father standing over the bed. He was happy that it was his day off and all he wanted to do is catch up on sleep.

"Dad what do you need?" Don asked his father.

"I wanted to see if you wanted some coffee." Alan asked his son. The only answer that Alan got was the pillow being thrown at him. Alan left the room and went back into the kitchen. Don came in after twenty minutes to make his own coffee.

"Where did Katie go?" Don asked his father.

"She went to work." Alan responded to him.

"Why are you here?" Don asked his father.

"Charlie had Antia and Larry at the house doing their thing so I decided to asked Katie if I could come here." Alan responded to him. "She told me yes."

Before Don had a chance to respond, his cell started to ring and that meant that his day off was gone. He went to go get really for work.

"So much for you day off." Alan said to his son.

"Yeah no kidding." Don responded to him. "It comes with the job. We will see you tonight at the house.

"Okay." Alan said to him.

"Make sure that you lock up for me please." Don responded to his father before he left for work. He finally got to work to find that his wife was walking to meet him.

"So what was with the case?" Don asked her.

"It is a kidnapping case. What time did you get home last night?" Katie asked her husband in response.

"I think that it was around midnight when I finally got home last night." Don responded to her.

"Why did you not wake me up?" Katie asked her husband.

"Because I did not want to wake you up since you were not feeling good. I figured that you need to sleep." Don responded to him.

"Let's just get this case done so we can go home and spend some time together." Katie responded to her husband.

"Alright let's do this." Don said as they got to work on the case.

They finally finished the case around three in the morning and decided to head home to get some sleep. The next morning, they had the day off and spent it with each other and Alan and Charlie.
