The thing about family disasters is that you never have to wait until a new one comes to put the previous one in perspective. I learned that when Sirius ran away. There was a family meeting at Grimmauld Place and Sirius' name was blasted off the tapestry. It hurt so much to see that tapestry again, especially seeing Andy's name blown off. We were all ushered into the dining room where Aunt Walburga took the floor.
"We will not tolerate this disgust, that filth is no son of mine are we clear." Everyone just nodded; even father didn't have the guts to say anything now with Aunt Walburga on such a tight string.
"Walburga I think your mistaken here, Sirius has hardly done anything wrong he's just run off you haven't even given him a chance to come back." Everyone turned to Uncle Alphard completely surprised he had spoken.
"Alphard don't speak that name in this house."
"Walburga you are going a little overboard just as you did with Andromeda."
"No she isn't Alphard" Daddy butted in "that girl deserved what she got." Bella flinched next to me she hated talking about Andy it just made her angry.
"That girl Cygnus is your daughter whether you like it or not, and you have a grand daughter too. Andromeda sent a letter to me a couple months ago telling me she's had a baby girl." Daddy and Bella's eyes lit up with rage the topic was starting to piss them both off.
"Alphard I suggest you shut up or I'll blow your name off the tapestry too."
"Walburga do you remember Cedrella." Aunt Walburga flinched at the name as did father, and Uncle Orion. "You looked up to her Walburga don't deny it. She was practically your older sister, and I know for a fact you talked with her for a short time after she married the Weasley." I stared at Aunt Walburga and the room went silent. Everyone was thinking of how certain Blacks went astray.
"Leave now Alphard just leave." Aunt Walburga's tone had turned soft, and everyone was staring at the two. Uncle Alphard grabbed his coat, and walked out the door.
"Mark my words Walburga you are making a mistake." Aunt Walburga just took out her wand and using it threw a chair up against the wall breaking it into pieces. She left the room crying, and we sat in the dining room confused as to how Uncle Alphard made her so upset.
