Summary: An "extended and alternate" version of "Looney Tunes & Space Jam: Back in Action". In this version, Darius Magnificent and his friends are recruited by NBA star Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny to help the Looney Tunes and Cartoon All-Stars take on the MonStars in a basketball game.

Looney Tunes & Space Jam: Back in Action – The Extended Version
Synopsis: In Looney Tune Land and the Animation Multiverse, Bugs Bunny and the gang run afoul of a group of miniature aliens known as the Nerdlucks. Once the Toons notice their small stature, Bugs gets the idea to challenge the little aliens to a basketball game that would decide the fate of the Looney Tunes and Cartoon All-Stars: if the Toons win, they will stay in their own universe, but if the Nerdlucks win the game, they will make the Looney Tunes and Cartoon All-Stars their slaves on the outer-space theme park, Moron Mountain.
However, when the Nerdlucks decide to take the talent from five of the NBA's elite, they become the super-talented MonStars, proving to be a worthy opponent for the Looney Tunes and Cartoon All-Stars. All hope seems to be lost, but Bugs Bunny calls in an old friend: Michael Jordan. However, as Michael states that he might not have the chops like he used to, he mentions a young basketball phenom that could also serve as a possible secret weapon to the Toons ... and could be the other basketball player who can save the Looney Tunes, Cartoon All-Stars and, most importantly, the Animation Multiverse.

In the Real World ...
Date: Summer 2005 – Los Angeles, CA
Our story begins on a starry night at the local basketball court of the Los Angeles Basketball Academy. As a star flew across the beautiful night sky and the full moon was shining bright, R. Kelly's classic song, "I Believe I Can Fly," was playing in the background.
It was a regular evening during Summer 2005 and a 9-year old African-American male was busy practicing his basketball skills. This kid had a black cornrow hairstyle with brown eyes and was wearing a Chicago Bulls basketball jersey, black basketball shorts, and a pair of Air Jordans.
While he was playing, a young teenage female, who goes by the name of Jessica, walked up to the male and noticed he was still engaging in his private basketball shootaround. As she walked onto the court, Jessica called out, "Hey, Darius!"
When he heard her voice, Darius quickly stopped shooting the basketball as Jessica walked up to him and said, "Hey, Darius, what's going on?"
"Oh, hey, Jessica," Darius said as he tucked the basketball under his arm and hugged Jessica. "I was just shooting around for a little bit."
"A little bit?" Jessica said as she giggled. "Darius, you have been shooting around for the past two hours or so."
Darius could only smirk at her line as he smiled and said, "Well, I just felt like I needed some more practice."
"Well, I don't want to see you overwork yourself, you know?" Jessica said. "The guys around here have said you were making good progress so far, so you don't have anything to worry about."
"Yeah, Jessie, I guess you're right," Darius said with a smirk.
Jessica smiled at Darius as she asked, "Hey, did you want to ride with my friends and I to go see a movie?"
Darius thought about for a minute, then he asked, "Well ... can I take one more shot?"
Jessica could only look at Darius, then she smiled as she said, "Alright, but just one more shot."
Once she said that, Darius smiled at her as he jumped up and made a perfect jumpshot, impressing Jessica as she caught the ball and passed it back to Darius, saying, "That's pretty good, Darius. Let me see you shoot another one."
When Darius caught the ball, he jumped up and made another jumpshot as Jessica caught the ball and said, "You're getting pretty good. Go ahead, Darius, keep shooting until you miss."
"Hey, Jess, do you think if I get good enough, I could actually go to college?" Darius said as he made another jumpshot.
Jessica caught the ball and passed it back to Darius as she said, "As long as you keep your mind to it, I think you could do anything you want to."
"Well, I was thinking of going to either North Carolina or UCLA," Darius said as he made another jumpshot.
"North Carolina and UCLA, huh?" Jessica said as she passed the ball to Darius. "Those sound like some real fine schools; I'm sure you could get a good first-class education up there."
"I'm hoping I could play on the championship team," Darius said as he continued shooting. "Hey, if I do good enough, I could actually land a contract with one of the teams in the NBA!"
As Darius continued hitting jumpshot after jumpshot, Jessica finally stopped him as she giggled and said, "Alright, slow down, Darius. Don't you think you should be rejuvenated before you think about all of that?"
"Hey, you know what it is, Jessica," Darius said as he laughed. "However, do you want to know what's my passion after I have done all of that?"
Jessica was curious about his answer as she said, "No, what?"
"I want to become a full-fledged entrepreneur, just like Nick Cannon," Darius said.
"An entrepreneur, huh?" Jessica said with a smile. "Well, hey, that's where people tend to get the big bucks. I suppose once you get through with all of that, you're going to fly high?"
"Just watch me, Jess," Darius said as he turned to look at the hoop again.
As soon as he said this, Darius began to run to the hoop to dunk the ball a la Michael Jordan as pictures of Air Jordan himself appeared on the screen. Once Darius jumped up to the hoop to dunk the ball, one more picture of Air Jordan appeared as the opening sequence began with the "Space Jam" theme song by Quad City DJs playing in the background.

Date: Summer 2015 – Los Angeles, CA
The opening sequence for the film featured pictures of Michael Jordan through the years: from his collegiate basketball career at the University of North Carolina to his years as one of the integral star players of the Chicago Bulls. The opening sequence ends at the start of the present day with Darius Magnificent reading a book about Michael Jordan's career, looking on in amazement about all of Air Jordan's accomplishments.
"Wow, for a guy who started out as a secret weapon for the Bulls in '83, it's amazing to see how he developed into one of the biggest powerhouses in basketball," Darius said as he was reading the history book.
Suddenly, he was startled by the voices of his friends over the horizon, then he turned to see Victoria and Nada running to him with a letter from the NBA. Victoria ran up to Darius as she said, "Hey, Darius, we have been looking for you for the past 30 minutes! You forgot about your letter earlier today."
As Victoria handed Darius the letter, Darius raised an eyebrow as he curiously asked, "What is this letter about?"
"From what I heard, it sounds like an invitation to a freestyle basketball session," Nada explained.
"Really?" Darius said with a hint of interest in his voice as he started to open the letter.
Once he read it, he became excited when he realized he was invited to a freestyle basketball tournament that was being hosted by entrepreneur Nick Cannon, also known as "Mr. NCredible," and world-renowned rapper Freestyle Vibrations. After reading the invite sent by Mr. NCredible himself, Darius told both Victoria and Nada about the session, and the girls became proud of their basketball enthusiast friend as the trio walked to continue talking about the event at hand.
Location: Moron Mountain, Outer Space
In Outer Space, through a travel scene past the Earth's moon and near the planet Saturn, a large planet was seen, which had an alien theme park on its surface, which was known as 'Moron Mountain', a theme park that consisted of a ... rather interesting variety of rides and attractions. However, there were not a lot of guests at this theme park at the moment, but there were two park guests that were riding a random attraction. The alien boy and his dad were blasted from the ride, and eventually crashed on the ground. Luckily, they did not get hurt from the following crash.
"Let's get out of here, Dad; this stinks," the alien son said. "Don't bring me here anymore, alright?"
Unbeknownst to both of the park guests, they were being watched on a surveillance tape by Mr. Swackhammer, who was the owner of the Moron Mountain theme park.
"Are you listening to this, fellas?" Swackhammer to the Nerdlucks as he turned off the televisions. "Did you hear him? Did you hear what he just said? That little brat is right. I've told you if I told you once, I have told you this a thousand, thousand, thousand, thousand times! We! Need! New! Attractions! New ones! Get it?"
"Yeah, big, shiny new ones," said Nawt, the red Nerdluck who was busy filing Swackhammer's nails.
"You're absolutely right, sir!" said Bang, the green Nerdluck, while Bupkus, the purple Nerdluck, was licking his sandals.
"Look at me, look at me and listen," Swackhammer said as he flipped his lighter on and a flame hit Pound, the orange Nerdluck, on his behind, which led him to scream off of the table. "The customer is always right ... Always."
As he smoked his cigar, green drool fell from his mouth and landed on Blanko, the blue Nerdluck, who could only give a look of disgust as the other Nerdlucks said, "Right!"
"So, does anyone have any ideas?" Swackhammer asked.
The Nerdlucks started a brainstorming session amongst themselves as Pound piped up and said, "Well, how about we get the Hanna-Barbera characters?"
"Nah, not really," Swackhammer said, brushing off the idea. "I highly doubt anyone would recognize any of their characters, aside from Scooby-Doo, Tom and Jerry, and ... probably the Flintstones."
"Right," Pound said to himself in a quiet tone.
"Well, I could try to sign a deal with the NBA's shining superstars, but that might not be a good idea in hindsight," Swackhammer said as he stood up and walked out of the room. "I'll think of something by tomorrow. Let's pick up this meeting from this point tomorrow evening."
As Swackhammer walked out of the room, the Nerdlucks were still trying to think of some new ways to revamp Moron Mountain and bring in a new series of customers.
"Guys, what are we going to do?" Bang said. "Moron Mountain is on the verge of closing down and we don't anything to offer to bring in more revenue from the park guests."
"How about we try to live it up before it closes down, dudes?" Blanko said.
"Actually, Blanko, that would be a good idea ... if we could live it up without the knowledge of this theme park closing down once these six months are up," Bupkus said in a sarcastic tone.
"Alright, alright, everyone, let's calm down and try to think about this in a rational manner," Nawt said. "I'm sure something will come to us later."
"Well, while you guys do that, I'll just go ahead and see what's on TV," Bang said as he turned on the little televisions.
Once he turned the televisions on, however, Bang was in complete amazement about what was playing on the televisions. He was so excited about this, he actually ran to the other Nerdlucks to show them his idea.
"Alright, so, I guess we need something that's nutty," Pound said. "Something that's wacky, something that's ..."
"Hey, guys! You gotta check this out!" Bang said from the other room, catching the attention of the other Nerdlucks. "I found something that could help the park boost its sales and popularity!"
The other Nerdlucks followed Bang into the other room as he led them to the TV screens. When they got up, Blanko asked Bang, "So, what did you find?"
"I think 'Looney' is what we need for this park!" Bang said as he pointed to the television screens.
"'Looney', eh?" Pound said as he and the other Nerdlucks took a look at all of the little television screens.
On the little television screens, they saw clips from various Looney Tunes cartoons, as well as clips from various cartoon series and films that aired on Cartoon Network, Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. Some of the little television screens featured clips from episodes of Animaniacs, Wabbit, Ed, Edd n Eddy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Kim Possible, Winx Club, The Boondocks, Adventure Time, We Bare Bears and Regular Show, alongside the aforementioned clips from Looney Tunes shorts.
The Nerdlucks all smiled at all of this as they quickly got an idea and Pound said, "Whoa, look at that! Looney Tunes, Winx Club, Kim Possible, My Life as a Teenage Robot, Animaniacs, We Bare Bears, Ed, Edd n Eddy ... that's it! I think we've finally got a good idea!"
"Do you think Mr. Swackhammer will like this one?" Nawt asked.
"Of course, Mr. Swackhammer will like this!" Pound said. "After all, this idea is just too good to pass up! Come on, fellas, let's go get the boss and show him what these Toons are made of!"
With that declaration, the Nerdlucks then ran out of the room to get Mr. Swackhammer and show him the idea that would save Moron Mountain from closing down ... for good.
It looks like the Nerdlucks are feeling pretty optimistic about reviving interest in Moron Mountain with the use of the Looney Tunes and the Cartoon All-Stars as the new, official mascots for Moron Mountain. With their excitement, it might cause a cloud of judgement when it comes to Swackhammer's thoughts on the matter. Will Swackhammer accept the idea that the Looney Tunes and Cartoon All-Stars could save Moron Mountain from a potential shutdown?
Also, this version is going to be set in a more contemporary setting and mirror the current state of the National Basketball Association. This fic will focus on a different original character of mine: Darius Magnificent. However, Michael Jordan will still play an integral role as a fictional character himself. Another note is that this fic will be set in the continuity of the Animation Multiverse, so this fic will be set in a different timeframe compared to the original. For future reference, the Looney Tunes and Cartoon All-Stars will all be referred to as "Toons" for the sake of avoiding confusion. Finally, this version will have a set cast of cartoon characters, compared to the original version of this fic, which just had other cartoon characters listed for the sake of listing. However, some cartoon characters will still appear in cameo roles (keep your eyes out for cartoon cameos throughout this fic!).
