Chapter One:

Hero Worship

Cyborg raised his fist and delivered a heavy punch, sending Cinderblock flying into the nearby wall. Starfire was right behind him, green energy blasts shooting from her palms, her eyes glowing with power. Raven raised her hands in front of her, chanting her famous mantra. A black sphere suddenly surrounded Cinderblock, lifting him high into the starry blue sky. Before the rocky giant can gain his footing again, a large rhino rams hard into him, delivering the final blow.

"That was the scene last night after a robbery attempt. Cinderblock was quickly thwarted and now rests behind bars." Sue Storm announced.

"Do those kids ever sleep, Sue?" Michael Bailey asked her.

"Apparently not, Mike. The city can rest easy knowing the teen titans are on the case." Sue said, finishing off the newscast.

A small girl, about the age of twelve sat cross-legged on the carpeted pale pink flooring. She ran her hand through her short blonde cut and reached for the remote. With a click the smiling news anchors disappeared into nothingness.

Lillian Montague had lived in Jump City most of her life. She loved falling asleep to the sound of cars honking and subways rushing by. And she loved the ice cream shop on 4th Street that always gave her a discount because her cousin worked there. But what she really loved with the Teen Titans.

Saying that Lilly liked the Titans would be seriously toning things down. She was obsessed. Every day after school she took the long way to the loft she shared with her parents just so she could catch a glimpse of the T shaped tower. She would stare longingly into the sky's hoping to see a green bird piercing through a fluffy white cloud. And she almost died when the high-tech T-Car zoomed past her in the streets.

Lillian threw off her flip flops and leaped onto her queen sized bed wrapping herself in the soft satiny covers. She gazed around her oversized bedroom. The carpet was a dark blue that was almost the exact shade of her eyes. The pink walls were covered from top to bottom with posters. Each of the four walls and the ceiling were dedicated to one of her favorite heroes.

She'd started out with just a few posters… but now. It was just crazy. You couldn't turn to one corner of the room without seeing Starfire grinning expression. Look up at the ceiling and Beast Boy was winking down at her. And it wasn't just posters. Lilly had bedspreads, curtains, rugs, pillows. You name it. If it had the Titan insignia on it, she had it.

When Robin had been featured in Seventeen Magazine, Lilly had bought up every copy they had and taped each picture to her wall. She could name his favorite food, movies, hobbies, songs, TV shows, and

books without batting an eyelash. Lilly had memorized countless Tamaranian meals and drinks, just in case. For Halloween last year she'd dyed her hair purple and bought purple contacts. Of course loads of kids dressed up like the Titans every year but this was different. The only thing that Lillian was missing was pale, gray, skin, and super powers and she could BE Raven.

Lilly had seen every episode of the animated show at least thirty times and owned one of every Teen Titan comic known to man. She was more than just a fanboy (or fangirl in this care), much more.

I'm not even done with this chapter yet. I just wanted to see what people thought of it so far. It's it a good idea or not. Keep it. Fix it. Throw it away. Let it stay. lol. YOU DECIDE
