I'm Leaving
A story by Songstone
Songstone: Okay, don't take this story so seriously. xD It was just a random thing I did on DA to scare my friends. Really silly and weird. xD
Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto
The blond locks were tossed around Deidara's hips as he swayed lightly, side to side, to the music beginning to play. He gripped the microphone in both hands and leaned in, eyes moving over the crowd as he parted his lips to start the song.
"All my bags are packed down. I'm ready to go. I'm standing here outside your door. I hate to wake you up to say goodbye. But the dawn is breaking, it's early morn. The taxi's waiting, he's blowin' his horn. Already I'm so lonesome i could die . . ."
The blue orbs seemed to light up, however, when he spotted who he had been looking for. A full head of red hair and two cool, brown orbs locked on his own.
Sasori smirked and lifted a hand in greeting to the blond. He leaned against the counter of the bar and tapped his hand in the slow beat of the song.
Deidara was smiling so wide, he wasn't sure if he'd be able to stop and sing anymore. But he quickly returned to the microphone so that he could finish this song. Sasori had made it! That was reason enough to try and finish properly.
"So kiss me, and smile for me. Tell me that you'll wait for me. Hold me like you'll never let me go. 'Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane. I don't know when I'll be back again. Oh babe, I hate to go . . .
"There's so many times I've let you down. So many times I've played around. But darling, now they don't mean a thing. Every place I go, I think of you. Every song I sing, I sing it for you. When I come back, I'll wear your wedding ring.
"So kiss me, and smile for me. Tell me that you'll wait for me. Hold me like you'll never let me go. 'Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane. I don't know when I'll be back again. Oh babe, I hate to go . . .
"And now the time has come to leave you. One more time. Oh, let me kiss you. Then close your eyes, and I'll be on my way. Dream about the days to come. When I won't have to leave alone. About the times when I won't have to say . . .
"So kiss me, and smile for me. Tell me that you'll wait for me. Hold me like you'll never let me go. 'Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane. I don't know when I'll be back again. Oh babe, I hate to go . . .
"I'm leaving on a jet plane. Don't know when I'll be back again. Oh babe, I hate to go.
"I'm leaving on a jet plane . . . Leaving on a jet plane . . . Leaving on a jet plane . . . Leaving on a jet plane . . . Leaving on a jet plane . . . Leaving on a jet plane . . . Leaving on a jet plane . . . Leaving on a jet plane . . . Leaving on a jet plane . . . Leaving on a jet plane . . ."
As the music died away, Deidara began to, in turn, step away from the microphone. He stepped through the crowd that was eagerly applauding his performance, and straight to the back of the bar.
Sasori was on his feet, clapping his hands together as well. But he paused in his actions in order to catch Deidara as the blond threw himself into his chest.
"Deidara." He began, kissing the younger man's forehead and rubbing his hands up and down his back. "You did great."
The blond smiled, hugging onto Sasori a bit tighter and nodding in thanks. Words weren't needed anymore.
Songstone: Still, reviews about my writing and choice of song are always welcome. xD
