Now Come Follow Me
She notices him staring at her; he can sense it. He observes her as she slowly swings her hips side to side. A coy smile is planted on her face. An amused smirk is planted on his. She turns her back towards him, making him want more.
If you want it, you already got it.
He fantasizes about having sex with her. She imagines kissing him on his lips. He wants to wrap his arms around her skinny waist. She wants to wrap her arms around his neck.
They both want to dance with each other, but they can't. They have to observe each other. Never getting close. They fear the worse will happen. They're afraid of love.
She fears that he will hurt her, emotionally. She mentally isolates herself from love. In her complicated mind, she cowers herself in a dark corner. Not letting her get too close. Although, she's never afraid of a little flirtation.
He fears that she will disappear one day. Every person that he opened up to, besides Rouge, they all died. He vows to himself to never get close to anyone again after when Maria died.
However, here he is. Getting a little too close with this pink hedgehog. Words were not exchanged, but their actions were louder than words.
She occasionally kept looking over her shoulder. That coy smile was still on her face. That amused smirk was still on his.
Tonight was the night that they forget their silly fears. Fears is useless, it makes you miss out in life. If you miss out too much in life, you'll end up unhappy, unfulfilled. Sure you will be safe from your fears, but was it really worth it?
Was it worth it to be constantly worried?
Constantly afraid?
Constantly sad?
No, it's not worth it.
So tonight, they will follow their hearts.
They put aside to their fears, but it won't be gone forever. It will eventually come back. But for now…tonight is there night.
Her emerald orbs bore through his crimson orbs. She turns to face him from afar.
Now come follow me…
Her wish seemed to be set to action. The dark hedgehog stood up from the stool he was sitting on. She stayed right where she was, not moving a mussel.
He trotted through the dark club. Instead of using electricity, they had candles. The orange flames danced casting a grim light. All the people around the two hedgehogs seemed to disappear. They could only see each other, no one else.
The dark hedgehogs shadow loomed on her as they lighted the candles. He outstretched his arms towards her and held out his hand.
She timidly took his hand.
She wrapped her arms around his neck. While he wrapped his arms around her waist. They slowly swung side to side in a gentle motion.
Smiles were formed on their faces.
She closed her eyes and rested her head on his chest. His eyes were still opened. He wanted to take in every single detail. He wanted to remember this night.
They realized something that night, fears is just an illusion.
Now come follow me...
Down the candle lit hall...
It's easier to see...
Got what you need...
Finish...
