Remus laid in the grass of the quidditch field staring up at the sky. He easily located what he was looking for, the star that his best friend was named after. It was the brightest star in the sky. It was quite ironic really because to Remus, Sirius was the brightest star on earth. Remus just wished that everyone else would see it his way. Sirius's family disowned him because he was a Gryffindor. But Remus didn't care what anyone else thought, Sirius would always be Remus's very favorite person.
Suddenly somebody was sitting in the grass next to him. "Hey moony what are you looking at?" Sirius asked, although he already knew the answer. "You," Remus answered simply. Sirius chuckled, "Ah yes the star in which I was named after." Remus turned his head and looked at Sirius who was frowning. "What's wrong?" Remus asked Sirius. Sirius sighed and said,"Nothing, it just hurts sometimes to think about my fa... relatives. It just reminds me that I have no one who loves me." Remus looked into Sirius's eyes,"Are you crazy? You have so many people who love you. James, Mr. and Mrs. Potter, Lily although she'd never admit it, almost every person in this school teachers included... me."
Sirius looked at Remus,"Do you mean it? Do you really love me?" Sirius questioned. "Of course I do. How could I not? You the most amazing person in the entire world anyone would be crazy not to love-" but Remus was cut of as Sirius's lips gently pressed into his. Remus sat there stunned for a moment before he tenderly started to kiss back.
Eventually Sirius pulled away and they stared into each other's eyes,"I love you too." Remus eventually rested his head on Sirius's shoulder, the two sitting together in ignorant bliss. Not knowing that soon bad things were going to happen and they wouldn't be together forever like they both hoped. But for now Remus was happy, he was happy sitting there with the brightest star on earth. No His brightest star.
