Kiki was working in Osono's bakery in Koriko,Japan one day when a middle-aged italian woman entered. "Hi, there. My name's Marita. I just moved here weeks ago from Tuscany,Italy. I would just like you to deliver this package to a woodcarver named Geppetto back at Tuscany," she stated. "What's his name again?" Kiki asked after concentrating on organizing the baked goods on the shelves. "Geppetto," Marita confirmed. "Okay. I'll deliver this as soon as I can," said Kiki. "Thank you so much, my dear," Marita cheered as she left after tipping Kiki. Osono came from the back of the bakery to check on Kiki. "Oh hey, you got a package," Osono assumed. "Well it's actually not for me. It's for someone else," Kiki corrected. "Who?" Osono questioned curiously. "It's for a woodcarver in Tuscany,Italy named Geppetto," Kiki replied. "Interesting," Osono murmured. The next day, Kiki did her usual hygiene and ate breakfast just before flying in the sky with her black cat Jiji. "Where are we going again?" Jiji questioned feeling a bit confused. "Tuscany,Italy," Kiki answered. "Ooh. Talk about pizza and pasta," Jiji mentioned. "I know. It's simply delicious," Kiki agreed as she subsequently turned on her portable radio. After hours of flying, Kiki and Jiji finally landed in Tuscany,Italy. They walked around until they eventually found Geppetto's wood shop. Kiki rang the doorbell. The door opened revealing a wooden boy which surprised Kiki and Jiji. "Hi there. My name's Kiki and this is my cat Jiji. Is Geppetto here?" Kiki greeted. "He is. Why?" The wooden boy questioned. "I just have this package for him from a woman named Marita," Kiki answered. "Oh, come on in," the wooden boy stated as he began to fully know what Kiki came for. "Geppetto's my father by the way. I'm Pinocchio and this is my girlfriend Pinocchia," the wooden boy continued. Geppetto was busy carving a picture frame. "Oh and this is my cat Figaro and my fish Cleo," Pinocchio continued again. Jiji decided to talk to Figaro obviously since they're both cats. "Marita is a very good friend of ours. She came here months ago as a customer and told us that her own father was a woodcarver too before he died," Pinocchia advised. "She invited us to her old house the next day after we met her," Pinocchio added. "Hey papa, a package from Marita came. Do you want to open it?" Pinocchio added again. "You can open it," Geppetto responded still busy carving the picture frame. Pinocchio and Pinocchia opened it together. It was a set of wooden blocks with graphic designs on them. Pinocchio read the letter that came with the package: Dear Geppetto, I feel just great living a new life in Koriko,Japan. This is the last thing my father carved just before he died of cancer. I hope you and your children enjoy it. Love, Marita Vicchio. Pinocchio and Pinocchia simply began playing with the blocks until Geppetto was finally done carving and adding the finishing touches to his picture frame. "That's a very nice frame you made there," Kiki commented. "I worked so hard on it," Geppetto replied. They all then had pizza and apple juice for lunch/dinner. "So what else do you do besides deliver things?" Geppetto asked. "I work at a bakery organizing and cashing baked goods," Kiki answered. "Where at?" Pinocchia added. "Koriko," Kiki responded. "What's the manager's name?" Geppetto questioned kindly. "Osono,"Kiki explained. "Is it a man or a woman?" Geppetto asked. "It's a woman," Kiki confirmed. Pinocchio, Pinocchia, and Geppetto were so kind, Kiki decided to spend some nights at their place. Just before she left, Geppetto, Pinocchio, and Pinocchia offered Kiki two wooden statues of birds; one for her and one for Osono.
