I don't own Total Drama. Never will *sigh*
It was a sunny afternoon in the Player Des Losers. The first generation cast was just hanging around and passing time in the luxurious resort after Season 3.
Over by the clear, glassy pool Trent was in his bathing suit, sitting with his feet in the water while playing the guitar. He was currently playing a new song he had just composed to his buddies DJ and Owen. As Trent played the last chord, he asked:
'Well, what did you think?'
'Nice one, my man' DJ fist bumped.
'Ditto,' Owen replied before standing up. 'Wait... I think I can smell… BACON! Catch you later Trent, my appetite always comes first.'
DJ stood up to follow him. 'I'm a little starving myself too. Catch you later man.'
'See ya guys,' Trent said before putting his guitar away in its case. After closing it, Trent looked up to see Duncan and Gwen hanging by the spa and sighed. It still pained Trent to see them as a couple. He was making his way to the punch table while eyeing them in jealously in the most unstalkerish way possible. That was until a certain CIT bumped into him.
'Hey! Watch where you're going, Trent.' Courtney snapped.
'Sorry Courtney, but you were kinda the one who bumped into me.' Trent reasoned.
'No I didn't!' she defended.
'Uh… I'm pretty sure you did…'
'Okay, okay fine, that was probably my fault…'
Trent noted that over the series, Courtney had started to realise her mistakes rather than insisting she was always right. Those were on rare occasions but still…
'But it's not like it was because I was watching Duncan suck face with Gwen.' Courtney continued. 'Pfft.'
'Yeah, I know what you mean,' Trent said as he found himself glaring at the couple. 'They're always spending too much time together. When I was with Gwen, she didn't hang around with me as much as she did with Duncan now!'
'I know right?!' Courtney agreed before complaining about Duncan. Soon, Trent and Courtney found themselves constantly dissing their exes, oblivious to the couple. After about an hour, the conversation ended.
'So um, Courtney…' Trent trailed off trying to fill in the awkward silence. 'You wanna go get some punch?'
Courtney's eyes widened as Trent asked this. 'Like… as in a date..?'
'No, I mean like-'
'OF COURSE NOT!' Courtney yelled. 'WHAT KIND OF FOOL DO YOU TAKE ME AS? I KNOW YOU'RE JUST TAKING ADVANTAGE OF MY WEAK STATE OF MIND JUST SO YOU CAN USE ME AND REBOUND OFF ME! BUT FYI, I'M NOT JUST GOING TO RANDOMLY REBOUND ON ANY GUY AS WELL!'
'No, Courtney! I didn't mean it as a date! I meant-'
'YOUR HEAD IS TOO RECTANGULAR AND YOUR HAIR IS WEIRD. ALSO, WHAT'S WITH THAT RANDOM OVAL ON YOUR CHIN? IS IT A BEARD OR A MOLE? YOU'RE SO CONFUSING! I NEED MY GUY TO BE PERFECT I TELL YOU. PERFECT!'
Courtney finally raged before going off to who knew where. Trent, on the other hand, awkwardly stood there rubbing his neck in embarrassment nine times.
'Ouch… I wasn't even asking her out on a date,' he sighed. 'What was I thinking? She's too rude anyway. I knew Trentney would've never worked…'
A/N: okay, okay, I know this probably would've NEVER happened in canon... but psycho Courtney is hilarious so I couldn't help it XD
Now with Trentney... Um... I'm kinda indifferent about it. I just don't think it would ever happen since Courtney is kinda rude and Trent is nice and decent. Just so you know, I don't hate any of them btw.
I also did one with Nawn so go check that out if u haven't already.
Anyway, thx for reading and rEVIEW!
