Another original Thomas story by Samantha613, this time it's "Gordon's Sleep Cure" Enjoy and comment.
Gordon loves to snore when he's asleep with his friends, but his friends doesn't like it, until they learn about trusting Gordon's way of sleeping from Sir Topham Hatt.
It was a lovely evening on the Island of Sodor, and all the engines were settling down in their berths to go to sleep.
Until suddenly Gordon started snoring loudly, which created so much noise that the other steam engines awoke.
"Hey Gordon, do you think that you could stop snoring at night so that the rest of us can get some sleep too?", asked Percy.
"But snoring is something I like to do," protested Gordon. "Especially when I'm sound asleep."
"But you can't do that all of the time!" argued James.
"I don't do that as much as I used to anymore.", replied Gordon.
"Well, Gordon, you think of some other way on how you could stop snoring to let all of us sleep and help you get sleep too.", said Thomas.
"Guys," said Edward slowly, hoping his friends could give him a little piece. "Don't you think that we should stop before Sir Topham Hatt comes?"
"He won't come this late at night." said Gordon grandly.
But he was wrong. Sir Topham Hatt arrived in Winston, his red car.
"Why are you all awake?" asked Sir Topham Hatt.
"All of the other engines here think that my snoring keeps everyone awake", Gordon said.
"Is this true everyone?", asked Sir Topham Hatt.
"Yes, it is.", everyone said
"Think of something that will help cure your snoring." suggested Sir Topham Hatt.
"I don't know, I kind of like my snoring. It helps me sleep, but if it keeps everyone else up at night, then I'm willing to try something different.", said Gordon.
"Very well, I think I know of one way to cure your snoring.", Sir Topham Hatt said.
Sir Topham Hatt suggested that Gordon have his steam engine in good shape every night to prevent him from snoring, and to think of pleasant thoughts to help him sleep at night as an alternative to snoring.
The next night Gordon and the other engines were able to get a good night's sleep. Sir Topham Hatt's snoring cure had worked.
