Prologue
Rain silently fell from the sky as streaks of lightening flashed through the dark night. The drawbridge suddenly came down without warning and a horse galloped quickly across it. Suddenly, another bolt of lightning flashed across the sky revealing its riders…a girl and a woman. The girl looked behind her terrified. A man on a black horse was chasing them…a man from the desert. He wanted something from them…something valuable. Then out of nowhere, there was a blinding light. Frightened the horse reared up on its hind legs, almost throwing its riders off. The light soon vanished, revealing a boy in green. Next to him was a glowing a pale blue. Without thinking, the girl grabbed something white from her dress and tossed it into the moat. The horse galloped off again and vanished into the dark night.
