Moonlight Teaser
This just came to me late last night as I was gazing at the full moon. I might make this into a short fanfic, but that depends on what people say about this so REVIEW PLEASE!! I have to warn you, though, that the characters would be OOC to the extreme and A LOT of stuff having to do with vampires would be different. If I did continue this, it would mainly be an original fiction with the character's names used. I wouldn't even do that, but to my knowledge, Fanfiction doesn't allow originals on the site. If this is not true, please tell me so I can change the character's names to their originals and all that stuff. Anyways, please read and tell me what you think. ;-)
Have you ever had that funny feeling when you look up into the night sky and see the full moon hanging up above you? Well, I have. It's a kind of happiness, of rightness that fills you to the brim.
I've never been able to explain it, but I've always loved that feeling I get from just sitting for an hour or so, just gazing up at the full moon in all its glory. I didn't realize it for a few years, but what phase the moon was in and the quality of the night sky always affected my mood at night. I was always happiest when gazing at the full moon on a clear night when I was alone. If the sky was cloudy, I would feel this inexplicable sadness in my chest until the moon broke through the cloud cover to watch over me again. As the moon's face succumbed to shadow and it showed less and less, my mood was affected by it less and less.
I always knew that this influence on my mood was not normal. No one else I knew was affected at all by the moon. I always just signed it off as another one of my weird quirks since I had so many.
Little did I know that this influence marked me as a monster, a predator, as one of them.
I know it's short, but what can you expect at 1:30 in the morning? I loved the ending, so I didn't feel right adding onto this. Please review and tell me what you think. Luv ya all. ;-)
