She couldn't believe she was here, with him, again. But this time it was different. They were far away from everyone and everything they knew, far from the judgmental whispers, prying eyes, and resentful stares of everyone, with the exception of Callie and perhaps Miranda, at Seattle Grace Hospital. Hell, they weren't even on the same continent as those people! They were half way across the world in Barcelona, Spain, of all places. They had decided to take this "vacation" together to see how they really felt about each other without being pressured or discouraged by their colleagues and friends.

To be honest, she expected that two week trip to amount to nothing but sex, sex, and more sex. Nothing more. What Addison hadn't expected was two weeks of visiting museums, discussing art, poetry, and life over lunch in small cafes, holding hands while walking down the beach, and romantic dinners by candle light. No, she hadn't expected any of that. But most of all, Addison had not expected to fall for him all over again.

But it was true she, Addison Adrienne Forbes Montgomery, had fallen head-over-heels in love with none other than Mark Sloan yet again. No, not again, but for the very first time. Before, back in New York after Derek left her dripping wet and sobbing in the home they had made together, she had thought she had loved Mark but they both had only confused the lust for love. But this time, this time was different.

It wasn't about lust or sex. It was about the deep connection she felt to him spiritually, mentally, and emotionally, as well as physically. And somehow, and she had no idea how, but somehow she knew it was the same for him this time too. She could see it. He'd been adamant before that he loved her in New York and even when he came to Seattle to win her back, but she could never see it, could never really feel the love he swore he had for her. But now she could, and he hadn't even said those three words at all. Yet she knew that he did and it made her feel as if she could fly.

And then, right there in the middle of their sighs of pleasure, right in the middle of the best sex she'd ever had, she knew that she truly loved him. Mark could make her heart skip a beat with just a glance, he sent chills down her spine with the slightest touch, and whenever they were apart she felt a tightness in her chest that was on the verge of being painful and she longed more than ever to see him again in those moments. Addison then realized she had never felt this way about anyone before. Not even when she was with Derek and their marriage was perfect. So no, it wasn't just about sex. Not this time, this time, and every time there on, she knew that when she and Mark were together like this, they would be making love.

And as their breaths became labored, her muscle began to clench around him, they came together. As they both came down from their highs, she looked up into his beautiful grey-blue eyes that were filled with love and desire, ran her fingers through his silvering hair and whispered, "Te amo".
