Disclaimer: Not mine, blahblahblah...
Pairing: Remus/Sirius, so if you don't like slash, don't read this. (Don't blame me if you don't like it, and still read it. You chose to ;))
This is half-inspired by a conversation with some of my friends. They said I loved a certain guy, while I kept saying that I only liked him. In the end, I discovered that they don't think the same about the difference between liking someone and loving them. Hence this one-shot. I came up with it at 11 PM while lying in bed and trying to sleep. It took the next half an hour to write this down, and I haven't slept that good in a long time ;) I edited it a little when I was more awake, and this is the result; enjoy!
First
"-and then Prongs told me that maybe I should stop talking to him, and start talking to you about it, because you're, like, one of the two people involved and-"
"Padfoot, does this story have a point?" Remus asked.
"Yes, I just wanted to say that, well… I really, really like you, and-"
"Shut up. I like you too."
Second
"You said you liked me, didn't you?" Sirius asked.
Remus smiled. "Yes, I did."
"Do you still like me?" Sirius asked hopefully.
"No." Remus answered, and Sirius' face fell.
"No, I don't like you anymore," Remus repeated, "I'm crazy about you."
Sirius grinned. "I can live with that."
Third
"Youstillcrazyboutme?" Sirius mumbled, with his mouth full of food.
"What did you say?" Remus asked, after swallowing his tea.
"Are you still crazy about me?"
"No."
"Not?"
"No, not anymore. I love you."
Always
"Remember when you first said you loved me?" Sirius asked.
"How could I forget."
"Do you still? Love me, I mean."
Remus turned around in his chair.
"I always will."
And that's it. Told you it was short ;) Nevertheless, tell me what you thought!
