Here she was on her bed, cutting out pictures of an old photo album. She knew that drinking this bad vodka, crying and cutting him out of a photo album, won't make her forget what they had. Shane Gray, the school's quaterback dated her for a year now. She, Mitchie Torres, chearleader, never thought she'd be so heartbroken. He was her everything.

It was friday. Friday was their night, the day when they hang out at the movies eating Dairy Queen just like any couple, but that night he hasn't called. Her hand shaking, she managed to compose his number, he always called. Shane didn't pick up his cell phone, the line was dead. Trying not to imagine the worst, Mitchie went for a walk, stoping by the park. That's when she saw her Shane with new girl Lisa. He had his arms around her waist whispering something sweet to her ear. She was giggling, giving him wet kisses on his neck. Mitchie thought she would puke. She just couldn't move and felt paralysed at the disguisting sight. Shane felt being watched, so he turned around to face Mitchie. He had a shocked look on his deep brown eyes. She ran faster then she could, head over heels. He ran after her.

Even though Mitchie was running quite fast, Shane caught up with her, taking her wrist in his hand.

She could still his voice echoing in his head, saying how sorry he was, that he didn't want to lose her. Mitchie just stood there in disbelief in her eyes.

-Mitch, I'll make it up to you. Lisa was just flirting and I caved, you know that I'm weak around girls.

-Sorry isn't gonna cut it, she replied with anger rising in her voice.

She felt tears rising in her eyes, but she pushed them back. She was sure about thing at that time, she'll never give Shane the satisfaction of seeing her in her weakest point, in her most vulnerable state.

-Look, I have to go home, I don't feel like listening to your lies anymore. Mikayla told me she saw you and Lisa get more then friendly, but I didn't believe her. Don't try telling me this was your first time sneaking around with that whore, I'm smarter then that, she said.

She looked into his sorry eyes, if she wasn't strong, she would've forgave him, but she had her dignity. Mitchie took another glance into his guilty eyes and left. He didn't even try to stop her. Talk about love, he told her that he loved her on a tuesday. She thought that was the best day of her life, but turns out it was all a big lie.

Shane Gray was nothing more than a cheater, she was warned by her friends not to trust him, but she couldn't stop her heart from loving, from wanting him.

Now, everytime, Mitchie feels the wind on her skin, it reminds her of Shane. She remembers how he liked the wind blowing in his hair, how he told her windy days were the best. When there's a storm in the sky, she remembers those nights when she was in Shane's arms. He was protecting her from the danger outside, he used to be her superman, but he wasn't anymore, he was just a cheater.

Mitchie remembers how she felt butterflies in her stomach when she only met Shane at her friend's ,Mikayla, party. He couldn't stop checking her out and talking about her with his friends. At the end of the night, he got the courage to walk to her and start a conversation. She gave him her phone number and msn. They talked every day and Shane was really happy when he found out she was transfering to his school. Soon after, they first kissed in Mitchie's backyard and started dating. Mitchie was happy at the time.

Looking back at time, Mitchie knew she had good times as well as bad times with Shane. He was sweet, but she always loved him more then he loved her. He was the type of guy that couldn't stop flirting with girls and even though it hurt she had to let go now and start a new chapter in her life.

Mitchie put down her vodka and burned all of Shane's cut out pictures with her lighter. It was time to say goodbye.
