Wolverine's claws popped out of his hands as his eyes flew open. A fierce glare filled them as he glanced around, but before he could jump out of the bed and even as the shrill scream of the girl who had saved his life continued to echo through the mansion, he relaxed. His claws sheathed; his head hit his pillow again. A lazy grin crossed his features. California mallrats must not be used to New York porcelain. He chuckled as he fell back to sleep, thinking that the warmer climate was one of the things he would miss about Australia.
