How Neji instinctively moved closer to her when another boy was around.
How on missions he was so gentle when bandaging her wounds.
How in sparring, just when she knew he was about to hit her, he pulled back just a little.
How he stole glances at her when he thought no one was looking.
How he always came to visit when she was in the hospital.
Neji never noticed
How she blushed when he spoke to her.
How, during sparring, she never threw her kunai as hard as she could.
How, when she was scared, she moved towards him for protection (which he invariably gave)
How she would sometimes leave her hand resting on his when he was bandaging her wounds.
How she smiled when he smiled.
And they never noticed
That they'd never have it any other way.
