The Brawlers and the Resistance were scattered around Runo's restaurant, where she held a New Year's party for them. " Hey Marucho, how long till New Years?" Julie asked, " uhm about 1 hour" Marucho replied. All the girls were laughing and talking at one side and the guys were at the other side.
"I am so happy I get to spend New Years with my boyfriend, Billy!" Julie giggled and Chan agreed with her because she has Joe. Runo, Alice, and Mira looked at each other, none of them had boyfriends. Alice looked at Shun, who also seemed to be staring at her. They both quickly turned away and blushed."Ohhhh! I see Alice has a bit of a crush on Mr. Silent n Strong!" Mira sang, the other girls ohhhed and cheered! "And what about you, Mira? We all know you have a thing for Ace!" Runo said and the girls cheered again, Mira blushed and was quiet!!!!!! " And don't forget the most obvious crush, Runo and DAN!!!!!!!!!" Julie exclaimed so only the girls can hear!!! Runo began denying it, but it was no use.
"Hey girls! How about a friendly game of truth or dare while we wait for the New Year?" Billy asked, Julie agreed and gave him a big hug! Chan and Joe were holding hands.
"So I'll go first," said Alice to Julie. "Truth." " is it true that you had a crush on Dan?" Julie answered, "Yea but I loved Billy more!" "Runo truth or dare?" Julie asked. "DARE ME!" she exclaimed. Julie giggled, " I dare you to give Danny-boy a kiss on the lips!" Runo and Dan turned red! She sat next to him and quickly closed her eyes and kissed Dan smack on the lips! She returned with a traumatized face while Dan was as red as a tomato. Everyone whooped and cheered. Runo turned to Shun "truth or dare?" she asked. "uhm dare I guess…." He answered. "I dare you to kiss alice on the lips!!!" Alice was already sitting next to him so she just leaned in. they kissed and returned to their positions. Everyone did the same as before. "Ace, truth or dare?" shun asked. Ace pondered the thought and said truth. "Is it true you have a crush on Mira?" "Yes." Ace admitted with a sigh, Mira blushed madly. Everyone cheered once again but were cut off by Marucho, "Guys there is about three minutes till new year!"
Everyone circled around the TV. At the last minute, Billy, Joe, Shun, and Ace pulled their girls into a hug and kissed them. Dan and Runo looked at each other and then looked away blushing. " three two one!!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Everyone screamed and cheered! Dan pulled Runo, it was now or never. " You didn't think that was the last time I would kiss you, right?" They looked in each others eyes and closed the gap between them with a kiss!
Everyone cheered at the sight of that and they agreed they had a happy New Year! And they yelled "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!"
