Target Practice:

Get Your Head Out of the Gutter

John reached down and grabbed the brush then cleaned the barrel of his gun with it. "Alright first you slip it in, and move it back and forth, also make sure that you slide it up and down the walls to make sure it's clean." John finished and placed the brush down. Teyla and Rodney both nodded.

"Now you put it back together and keep the safety on for the moment we don't want you to accidentally shoot off." John said Teyla and Rodney followed.

"Put your ear cover on in the inside there is a mike I'll be talking into so you can still hear me." John said placing his on Rodney and Teyla did the same. "Alright get into the ready position to fire but don't pull the trigger yet." John said putting his gun down. "I'll come around to check to see if your position is correct." He walked over to Teyla first. "Alright Teyla good stance but spread your legs a little more shoulder width apart and move your arms up a bit." John mover her arms up and used his foot to move hers.

"There you go." He then walked over to Rodney. "Rodney you need to loosen up a bit, relax it's not like were going into battle." John said a little amused. John stepped back and looked at there stances. "Ok that's enough for today practice those positions and tomorrow we'll fire." John said placing his gun back in his holster and Teyla and Rodney put there's down as well. As they walked out the door three people stumbled in Radick, Adain, and Carson.

"Um ah sir we didn't…" Ford stuttered off.

"Yeah we were just…" Carson tried.

"Well we…" Radick failed.

"How about you guys get your head out of the gutter, seriously we just got done with target practice. Teyla and I needed some help with aiming a 9mm because we are not experts at it so we asked John to help us because he is in the Air Force and has expert training and that's all." Rodney said and left. All three men looked at each other in realization and relief came over them. John and Teyla started laughing and Rodney stalked off.
