Meimi and Seira was talking to each other at school. "Oh, Seira-chan? Have you founded anyone you like?" Meimi asked. Seira blushed.
"But Meimi-Onee-san! You know I'm a nun." But, I wonder if I could have feelings. Seira thought. She turned and looked at Meimi. Meimi was looking down, thinking.
I should have never asked that. Meimi thought. It was already time to go home, but Seira stayed at the Local Church right by the school. "Seira-chan? Do you want to ,um, go get a snack somewhere?" Meimi asked, nervously. Seira looked at the Sister and the grown woman nodded her head. Seira smiled and said her thanks. Meimi helped Seira out of her seat. The two friends was already in town, looking for someplace to eat.
"So, Meimi-Onee-san? Do you want to eat some-" Seira trailed off, seeing a group of three men heading towards them.
"What's wrong, Seira-chan?" Meimi asked. But she had gotten the message as she saw the three men. Meimi protectively stood in front of Seira. She threw her arms out, ready to protect her secret crush. The leader of the group got in front of Meimi.
"Hey, you might be younger than us, but you and your pretty little friend can go somewhere with us?" The leader suggested. Meimi was just about to mouth off at the man when she felt an trembling arm reached around hers. She turned and saw Seira, frightened.
"No." Meimi told the man. The man got mad and pulled out a gun. He aimed at Seira, but Meimi got in front of her. "I'll never let you hurt Seira-chan!" Meimi shouted.
"Why? She's just a mere schoolgirl like you." The man told Meimi.
"She's not a mere schoolgirl! She's my crush and I'm going to protect her. Even if it costs me my life!" Meimi proudly said.
A/N: I'm going to end chapter 1 here. Also, I don't own Saint Tail nor its characters. Onee-san means Big Sister, so Seira is calling Meimi, Big Sister Meimi.
