Before he would put his head on his pillow and he would fell asleep, Tsukune traveled to his latest memories, where Kurumu was in everyone of them.
Most of the times, the only one human at youkai's academy is a motivated guy, but sometimes the longing about human world was stronger than his natural joyful spirit.
During that day, the foxy succubus noticed he was a bit down, and did her best to heal his empty heart. She had spoiled him, asked things he used to do when he was a kid, and explained a bit more about her love for him. Each one of that gestures of affection made him feel good and less sad.
As long as he was thinking about her, his will to sleep was fading more and more. His heart was beating faster than it does often. Tsukune was feeling a great urge to demonstrate his gratitude for her.
He walked silently until her room. He knocked her door, and when she opened it, Tsukune noticed easier how cute she is on her light blue pajama.
Almost losing his courage, Tsukune held her tight, embraced her and whispered
"Thank you for everything today, Kurumu"
Her happy expression filled Tsukune's eyes with an adorable kind of embarrassment which reached higher levels, when she also embraced him.
Her whisper got recorded into his heart
"I'm the one thankful, my dear, my only one"
