Dog Analogies
Hiruma was fond of damned mutts. He had Cerberus, after all, so he would assume that everyone and their fucking mother knew that. He knew most of the hundred or so damned breeds of dogs and knew several of them by appearance as well as name.
A darn bulldog for a fucking football player seems clichéd but heck! I'm surrounded by "bulldogs" all the damned time… Stereotypes become fucking stereotypes for a damned reason, I guess…
Most football players reminded Hiruma of bulldogs, even that damned monster Shin had the look of full-faced belligerence. There were fucking few players who looked differently.
Racoon-Eyes, for one, that serious huffy look on his face makes him look like a Siberian Husky and his sidekick with that enthusiasm and hair looks like a fucking Shi Tzu. Damned Cowboy always stood out as a rangy dingo among bulldogs and that twerp sidekick of his, an annoying whippet. That ex-MVP looked like a Doberman with that vicious look on his face. Dreads is like a fucking poodle with that fucking funny haircut and high-maintenance attitude…
Hiruma liked to think of himself as a damned fine greyhound, sleek and grinning.
"Hiruma-san, everyone's already set for practice."
"Coming, fucking shrimp." The fluffy hair and the big brown eyes always made Hiruma soften his voice ever so slightly. It was barely noticeable but it earned an earnest smile as he closed his laptop and stood up.
Damned shrimp…
Hiruma tried not to let it bother him too much since he knew almost everyone in Amefuto did that when it came to the shrimp.
Heck! The shrimp had gotten tea from Racoon-Eyes when he went spying at Kyoshin Academy, then gotten a smile out of the ex-MVP, later. And despite what Dreads say, even he gets a bit soft when it comes to the shrimp. After all, who can resist idiot puppies…
