Chapter One
I walked into Edward's room and looked around, a gasp rising in my throat. There were candles everywhere and Debussy was playing in the room. I closed the door quietly and crossed my arms.
"Ok Edward. Come out now." A low chuckle came from behind me and I whirled around to stare into his golden eyes. I threw my arms around him and pressed my lips to his, being careful not to overexcite myself. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed me back.
He pulled back when I gasped and looked into my eyes, love showing brightly. I smiled and he smiled back, that crooked smile I loved so much.
"Is this too much?" He asked, indicating the candles. I looked around and shrugged. I was being honest, I didn't know what happened when you were changed except it hurt like HELL for 3 days.
I had finally convinced Edward to change me and even though he had set the date far off, it had finally arrived and I was scared.
"I'm scared." I admitted and he nodded, doubt in his eyes as we sat on his bed. He placed his cold hand against my cheek and I leaned into it, closing my eyes.
"I promise not to hurt you Bella. I just can't promise that you won't be in pain, because you will be." I nodded and he sighed. "Then let's get this over with." He leaned in and I turned my head as I felt his cold lips at my throat. He opened his mouth and bit me.
