Darkness is full of curiosity.
Every moment Sora had his sapphire orbs focused on the dark portal in front of him, the more curious he would get.
He's never plunged head-first into the darkness without actually thinking it through. A year ago, when he had to release Kairi's heart from himself, his heart told him to do it—for her. But this time; he was having second thoughts.
What if he did go in? What if he turns into a Heartless again, but this time, he doesn't turn back? Riku went into the dark realm without a second thought and look at him now: stronger than he ever was. But would the same happen to Sora?
The Keyblade master averted his gaze—does he really want to see what lies beyond light? Or would he play it safe and not go? He wanted to go, but all these questions made him stay.
Sora didn't have much time until either the portal would close or Donald and Goofy would realize he was gone. But he wasn't stupid; he had to think things through first. 'Well, Riku survived before… and so did I…'
The brunette smiled and stepped foreword into the mysterious dark portal.
