Jack
Every time Jack looks at Daniel he feels guilty. Because he remembers and he knows Daniel doesn't.
But Jack still doesn't know if it actually happened or if he was just dreaming.
Either way, it's a hell of a way to start missing a friend.
And every time ascended Daniel showed up in an official capacity he didn't quite know how to ask if the steamy sex dreams he'd been having were fantasies or reality.
So on the day he sees Daniel flirting with the new nurse he realises he's got his answer. He's surprised by how much it hurts.
Daniel
Daniel knows something happened.
At first it was just a feeling but he's been having dreams…
Dreams that feel too familiar to be new.
At first he'd thought he'd forgotten a relationship but as time went on and the dreams became clearer he'd begun to understand.
The first time had been a chance at something he'd never gotten when he was alive. After that… it had become an addiction.
But he doesn't know if Jack's changed his mind so he decides to test it.
Flirting with the nurse is easy but Jack doesn't react and now Daniel has his answer.
