Vengeance

A/N: This is my second fan-fic people. Don't forget to R&R. I will be trying to upload more FanFictions as the days go on. I do have school and because of it, I become busy with work. Please forgive me. I'll try to upload at least 1 story/chapter a week.

"Ara!" He shouted and ran to her side, dropping his sword. "Ara, please speak to me!" He lifted her back slightly, holding her on his lap and he shook her body, tears welling up in his eyes.

"Elsword…I…I'm sorry. I...I can barely feel my...chest." A tear rolled down her bloody cheek. Her eyes seemed so distant. "I...I am happy...to be able to see into those...beautiful red eyes again..." A weak smile graced her bloody, tear stained face. She tried to raise her hand to touch his cheek but couldn't.

"Don't leave me..." He felt his own body begin to shake. His head went down, his eyes closed, trying to hold in the sobs and the tears from coming out. He opened his eyes to witness her eyes closing. "DONT LEAVE ME!" He began to feel the tears burning his eyes as he held her closer.

"E-Elsword…I…l-love…" She gasped and coughed up more blood before her body went limp in his arms. The spear rolled out of her now opened hand. Tears poured out of his eyes and he broke into sobs. He could hear the fighting in the background. He felt fury rising up in him. He looks up to see Karis' scythe run through Chung's body and mercilessly pull out. He let out a howling scream before collapsing on the ground, lifeless.

"Ara…Chung…my friends…" He looked around and saw the display of carnage. His eyes burned with a new fire. He softly laid Ara down on the floor and stood with a vengeance. Elsword locked his scarlet eyes on Karis. He walked smugly and angrily, never taking his eyes off of her. He took his sword from the ground, letting the blade slice into the floor. The sound of the steel of the blade dragging on the floor resounded loud in their ears and served as a warning. She looked into his eyes, unafraid and raised her magic scythe. She grinned murderously.

"My, my, is someone getting all worked up over the loss of his friends?" She laughed mockingly and he continued to glare dangerously, lifting his sword, drawing closer. "You're a failure in life. You couldn't lead a guild and you couldn't protect your group. How…depressing." She chuckled, lifting a clawed hand to her mouth. Pain and anger soared deep into his heart and pierced into the good part of his soul. A dangerous aura surrounded him and flamed red and orange.

"THIS…IS FOR MY FRIENDS!" He roared and charged at her, but she flew up, successfully dodging the swing. Knowing she would do this, he jumped and slashed at her left side, but she blocked his strike, anticipating it. She aimed her weapon up, flying backwards. She landed a few feet back.

"DEATH…" Karis focused the power into her hand and into the weapon. She looked up and then heard "ARMAGEDDON BLADE!" before she could say "strike" and unleash the black orbs from above. The blade was long enough to pierce into her stomach, letting loose dark blood. A loud scream was emitted from her and her eyes moved to his. She didn't want to be finished just yet. She summons her bats and commands them to attack him, but he was unfazed.

"Grave mistake." His voice came off sharp and icy. "Die." He forcefully removed the sword from her stomach, drawing more dark blood. "GIGANTIC-" The sword got longer. "SLASH!" Without a place to run, she was left to be brutally sliced to pieces and exploded. The final hit met and she faded away. The sword reverted back to normal and his aura slowly dissipated. He dropped down to his knees, looking to all his dead companions and pounded on the floor angrily over the loss of his friends, grieving.
