The 16 castaways arrived at Mt. Fuji and were split into two tribes. The Yakamoto tribe did very well in setting up their shelter; however, Chicken and Willard did not pull their weight. Ryno expressed a big interest in getting food, stating that if everyone was well fed, they would perform better at challenges. Soramaro had a problem when Marty sprained his ankle while hauling wood. The medical team came in to give him a cast. At the challenge (which consisted of an obstacle course relay race), Soramaro easily won immunity, thanks to dominating performances by Brian and Adam. Back at Yakamoto beach, Bob and Willard were brought up as possibilities to vote out because of their age. At tribal, everyone agreed that Willard did less work around camp. Willard voted for Chicken, while everyone else voted for Willard, who fully expected it. Willard became the first person voted out of Fuji. (7-1)
