This is an alternate universe in the Equestria Girls universe. This story features all my original characters. It does contain one canon character, though it's kind of complicated how he came into this timeline. Accidents always happen. But what will happen if you find out the accident you had leads to a whole new life where you find your purpose. A new life where you feel like you belong, a new place where it feels like home.
Neighsay has actually been through this phase before.
It all began when a few scientists began working on a time travelling device. One of the scientist being his father. He didn't complain much whenever his father would drag him to work with him. Neighsay found it interesting to be watching the scientist trying to bend the rules of nature. Though an occasional snicker whenever something blew up in someone's face. He never knew that he would be the next victim of an irreversible accident.
"Are we done yet?" Neighsay asked, probably for the fourth hundred time.
His father looked over his shoulder to throw him a disapproving look. They were currently on a breakthrough, not to mention the time travelling device they were working on was almost done. Though they tend to stop whenever they get irritated by Neighsay.
"Just one more tweak and everything will be done. Then you will be able to go home and brood your life away." Neighsay growled as he heard a few scientists snicker at his father's comment.
Sure, he liked to laugh at other's misery, that didn't mean he liked being laughed at.
After about 36 minutes, they were finally finished. Neighsay sat up on whatever contraption he was sitting on and raised an eyebrow. That 'thing' was supposed to be a time travelling device?
'Well, this sucks.' he thought as he leaped off the contraption and walked over to his father's desk.
Scrolling through some blueprints, he found himself intrigued by one of the unfinished inventions.
It was none other than the 'Spider Maid'. It was supposed to be an invention used for cleaning. The Spider Maid as he heard from his father, was supposed to be used for clearing the ceilings of cobwebs and dust. Turning the dust and dirt into oxygen. It has sensors installed inside it to sense water. Whenever it reaches a certain level of the little bot, the Spider Maid would started washing itself.
Neighsay had always wanted his father to finish this invention but it was always put on hold.
'If he was the one who had to clean the ceiling, he would've finish this invention first.' Neighsay thought to himself, not noticing the commotion that went on behind him.
Finally taking notice of the noise from behind, his eyes widened as whatever they were working on was headed straight at him. He didn't have even the slightest time to react.
With a blinding flash, he was gone from the lab. Leaving nothing from him behind, no trace, no nothing. His father was standing in shock. One moment they were working on a life changing invention, the next, his son was gone.
The scientist fell on his knees and cried. He had already lost his wife, now he's losing his son as well?
The others didn't know what to do.
They knew how their invention worked, but they didn't know where and when Neighsay was.
