Wammy's Tale
The story of Wammy's is not a love story,
And it's not a fairy tale.
It's the story of a great man,
Who could never be duplicated;
And geniuses,
Who would never measure up.
It's a tale of children who exploded,
Children who broke,
And children who fell through the cracks.
It's a story of anger
And passion.
A story of numbness
And self-forget.
It's the tale of a boy,
Who drew razors across his wrists,
When he couldn't be what they wanted him to be.
It's the tale of a boy,
Who tried so hard to succeed,
But always failed.
It's the tale of a boy with blood red eyes,
Who laughed at cruelty
And danced with death.
It's the tale of a boy,
Little more than a ghost,
Who would one day surpass them all.
It's a story of false hopes,
Empty dreams,
And plans gone wrong.
Of broken promises,
Betrayal,
And ruin.
It's a tale of loss.
