For Hogwarts online Hufflepuff prompt of the day "Brass Bed".
Brass Bed
"A Brass bed?" Hermione asked starring at the ugly brown frame that sat in her bed room. Fred was looking at her with a big smile on his face, which quickly turned into a look of confusion as he looked between Hermione and the bed.
"It is nice right?" he asked, to which Hermione scoffed and walked around the other side.
"It is ugly," she said turning her nose up at the frame.
"Not my fault you broke the bed," Fred grumbled and Hermione smiled.
"It was not my fat butt that did it thank you very much," Hermione countered.
"Well it was weak wood," Fred retaliated.
"So with all the money you and I have saved why couldn't you get us a nicer stronger wood bed?" Hermione asked a slight whimper in her voice. Fred smiled and moved around the bed, grabbing Hermione around the waist.
"This will last a lot longer," he said trying to convince her. Hermione sighed and sat down on the bed bouncing up and down to feel the mattress.
"Thank you," she said softly and as she had hoped Fred gave in.
"Tomorrow George and I will buy a new one," he said softly and Hermione smiled brightly. "You are just lucky you are so beautiful," he added and leant down to give her a quick kiss.
