David and Sirena stood behind the Ocean Cafe counter. Sirena started working there after David graduated college majoring in business management. " Hey Sirena, can you go to the cool room and grab me some more salmon and prawns?" David asked. "Sure." Sirena said. David blew her a kiss before she walked away to the cool room. She grinned all the way there. When she made her way to the cool room, she grabbed the salmon but before she could grab the prawns, a leak broke out in a pipe and soaked Sirena from head to toe. She sighed as she transformed and plopped onto the ground. David heard a bang and came rushing into the cool room, Carly, Mimi, and Ondina shortly following behind him. They saw the water and took a step back. "How can we fix the pipe and dry Sirena without you two getting wet?" Carly asked. Mimi and Ondina put out their hands, answering Carly's question. Carly smiled because she knew she was about to see the magic be done. The girls used their powers to fix the pipe and stop the leak from gushing more water into the cool room. When the water stopped, Sirena began steam drying her tail and thanked the girls. " You're welcome,Sirena. We'd do it any time for you." Mimi said with a smile. David grabbed the salmon and prawn and gave a wink to Sirena. She smiled as she continued to dry her tail. David brought the seafood back to the counter and whispered something in Carly's ear. He said " Can you tell Sirena to meet me at the beach when she gets dryed off?" Carly nodded. David was planning the perfect picnic date for him and Sirena. David walked off to the beach and carried the basket with him. Once she was done drying off, Sirena walked back to the counter only to find Carly, not David. " Hi Carly. Have you seen David?" She asked. Carly bit her lip as she grinned on the inside. " Well, he went on lunch break. He told me to tell you to meet him at the beach for a special surprise!" she answered Sirena squealed in excitement. She straitened her hair, made sure her denim romper looked okay, and skipped out the door to meet David on the beach.
Cam stood in the jewelry store looking at necklaces. He wanted to find the perfect gift to give to Carly for their 5 year anniversary. " Heck!" he thought " Why not just propose?" Cam grinned. He knew that proposing on their anniversary would be so romantic! he walked to the ring case and automatically saw the most beautiful perfect ring ever. The price wasn't so beautiful and perfect,though. The ring cost $1298! " Holy smokes!" Cam said under his breath. "Well, I'll just work double shifts next week on lifeguard duty.' He said. Cam asked the man behind the counter for the ring, took the velvet box, swiped his debit card, and left the jewelry store.
Sirena spotted David on the beach and gasped. He had a whole fancy picnic set up for them! She walked to David and gave gim a hug. He picked her up and spun her around. When they sat down on the blanket, David kissed Sirena. " David! You really didn't have to do all this for me!" she said. " Oh Sirena! I wanted to! I love you and I wanted to do something special for you!" he said. The two ate and laughed and talked all afternoon. Right before sundown, David got down on one knee and pulled out a little black box. Sirena gasped. " Sirena, will you make the happiest man alive and marry me?" he asked. Sirena shed a tear of joy. " Yes! Yes! I will marry you David!"she said . They kissed and then they both went home.
