The last thing he gave her was a Quill that lays in the bottom of her school bag broken. Cedric had promised forever, but he hadn't been able to keep it.
A part of says it's stupid to hold onto a broken Quill and another part of can't bear to throw the last thing Cedric gave her away.
Maybe one day when memories of him are just enough she'll get rid of it, but right now it isn't and she's learning slowly to accept that memories are not enough yet.
So she'll keep the broken Quill at the bottom of the school bag until the day it is enough.
