"Jingle bananas, jingle bananas!" Gru heard some of the Minions sing as it wasDecember in America meaning Christmas was on it's way and the Minions's first one!
Notmally, he avoided the holidays along with Nefario but this year they couldn't since the Minions were expecting Christmas plus they were helping him with schemes and heists all year round so why not?
Nefario was a little scared seeing the Christmas decorations especially the tree knowing these little guys had done it this time as he didn't get a,ong with them like Gru did, as it had been Gru's idea to let them stay, given them names that he remembered and was like a master but more like a father.
"Gru, have you seen what they did?" Nefarioyelled as Bob flinched at his tone hiding behind Gru.
"Yes I see but it's fine.
They're getting used to things like adjusting to this world, social stuff and us.
So why not have Christmas?" Gru said to him surprising him.
Kevin chuckled as he had overheard the argument, happy that Gru had won over Nefario as he and the others loved Gru.
He was so cool, warm hearted, and truly cared about them plus he didn't get mad when they screwed up and he and his brothers were having a secret meeting discussing what to get Gru for Christmas but we're already ChrIt's as shopping for each other, planning to put bad stuff in Nefario's stocking.
"We should get him a cannon!" Jerry said.
"You realise how dangerous we are with cannons, like when we served Napelon?" Dave reminded them.
"Good point." Phil said as they were debating.
Gru had found something he wanted to steal so they were going with him but wearing Santa hats and being mischievous unaware Gru was in the Christmas shopping zone for them but knew he had some good ideas as they were heisting a huge snow globe.
"Ooh!" The Minions said after getting it back to the house as Gru chuckled.
He liked having these guys around but cared about them like a father with his kids so wanted to make Christmas special for them but heard them singing carols which was adorable but recording it so was seeing they had baked cookies making Nefario anxious remembering the last time they had baked.
"Let me, okay?" Nefario said eating one.
To his surprise, it was good as Gru smiled.
"Mmm... They're good!" Gru told them.
Kevin smirked as he and his brothers were happy about this and knew Christmas Eve was soon, meaning Santa would visit the house making Gru understand as they were like kids.
He was getting ideas for Christmas very special for them despite Nefario being cynical to it.
A week later, it was Christmas Eve and the Minions were eating Christmas shaped pancakes which was adorable as Nefario sighed seeing Gru was getting ready to go out leaving Nefario in charge making him stunned since it would just be him and the Minions, seeing them get excited seeing falling snow.
He saw them going outside to experience their first snow but having fun throwing snowballs, building snow minions along with snow angels.
Nefario sighed as he didn't hate them, he just wasn't used to their mannerisms compared to Gru seeing snowballs hit the windows making him annoyed hoping that Gru would come back and he didn't have to take care of them.
Later, Gru was back but hiding gifts in his room but would wrap them later, when the Minions were asleep and smiled but saw the Minions getting tired as it was nine at night plus they were drinking hot chocolate which made them sleepy.
He was tucking them into beds as they were asleep as he left them to sleep going to wrap gifts and putting them under the tree knowing the Minions would be surprised in the morning and drinking coffee.
He was going to bed but the next morning, he heard a stampede of excited Minion feet making they had just woken up but saw them unwrapping gifts but excited as a good feeling ran through Gru and he liked it.
