What happened to Megas ?

It was a heated battle between the Glorft mech and the Megas it was probably the most brutal battle Coop had ever been involved in it was probably for the best that Jamie and Kiva weren't with himat the time because that's when it happened. The mech piloted by the Glorft commander slammed its fist into the belly of the Megas causing an unforeseen situation. The photonic stabilizer, which was poorly wrapped in duct tape couldn't take the pressure of impact and the stabilizer burst in a show of light engulfing the Megas and the Glorft battle mech in a ball of light. That was the last Kiva, Jamie or anyone foolish enough to be within range of this final epic battle.
However there was one person in New Jersey who had the foresight to make certain that there were no civilians in the area. Ironically this same person knew what was going to happen and still was shaken by the events.
"Grandpa?" Gwen Tennyson asked when she noticed her grandfather was unusually silent. Her cousin Ben Tennyson was busy clearing out debris and helping those unfortunate to be in New Jersey at the time.
"We need to see some old friends of mine before we leave." The elder Tennyson said with a tone of sadness in his voice.
Elsewhere Jamie and Kiva were digging themselves out of rubble in time to witness the destruction of the Megas
"NOOOOOOOOOO!" Kiva screamed knowing that any hope of returning to her own time was lost, she screamed for the loss of one of her closest friends, and she screamed because there was now no hope for humanity…that was until when a Winnebago rolled up beside her. The Winnebago clearly belonged to some eccentric millionaire recluse. Some one who had spent millions of dollars retrofitting the transport into a mechanical work of art, without calling attention to its self. Kiva's bionic implants were going haywire picking up the devices hidden within. The bionic implants picked up life scans and, "Coop?" she asked the Man who's granddaughter was close behind. Ben, who was exhausted from all the rescue work yawned with a bored expression on his face.
The strange old man rushed up to Jamie and Kiva giving them a big bear hug "Man, am I glad to see you guys again!" Jamie just looked at Kiva with a confused expression on his face.
Unfortunately the reunion was short lived as Glorft ground troops had the five alien smashers in their sights….
