We open in the Total Drama Jet right before they landed in Japan. Chris was making everybody clean up the plane after a small accident with the food cart (don't ask.)
Everybody (minus Sierra at the time) hated Chris with all of their guts. Especially when he made them do stuff like this or worse.
"It's the hard knock life," Bridgette said.
"What does that mean?," Lindsay asked.
"It means life sucks," Noah said.
"Oh. Then yeah," Lindsay said.
They felt like they could sing it out. And ironically, the season was a musical, so why not? Ding!

All: We got tricked!

Chris came in, "No singing until the next episode! And make sure those floors shine! And NO ONE touches my room!," he left. Despite that, they did another verse.
